Runes are mystical symbols used in various Germanic languages before the adoption of the Latin alphabet. The most common runic system consists of 24 runes, each of which has a unique sound and symbolic/mystical meaning. The runic alphabet is thus both important as a writing system and a form of divination/magical practice. Runes still hold interest and significance nowadays, especially for those interested in Norse mythology and ancient Germanic traditions.
A rune deck provides a convenient way of working with the runic symbols and tapping into their mysterious energies. Like tarot and oracle, it is used as a divination tool for guidance, meditation, spiritual exploration... When using it, a person may draw one or multiple cards and interpret the meaning of the rune(s) based on their positions with the help of a guidebook.

Bizarre Ink Rune Cards
This is one of, if not the, cheapest rune decks available for purchase and it's also super cute. If you don't have a rune deck yet, I think picking up a copy of this is definitely worth it.
Vermillion's decks are always of high quality and feature beautiful imagery. They're also usually quite unique finds that you won't see most other people using. They're a little pricey, but about as expected for high quality, limited print-run decks. I always check here before Tevada because they usually have better prices and faster shipping (and better customer service) here.

I feel like the bizarre runes deck was a bit expensive, but it is a very cute deck :) Does not have the meanings of the runes on the backs of the cards, though, so if you don't know the meanings, have them on a separate sheet until you have it memorized :)
