The Chariot

Element: Water
The design of The Chariot card, number 7, is inspired by the movie Dune. Here, the cobra replaces the sandworms from the film’s desert world. In addition, this tarot deck emphasizes feminine power. Therefore, you will see a female warrior in the chariot—agile and commanding an overwhelming presence. When we draw the Chariot card, it reminds us that as long as we do not give up, we will ultimately achieve victory. However, this persistence relies on our inner strength. In the original Rider–Waite version, the Chariot has no reins; it is guided by the power of the mind. Just as a single spark can start a prairie fire, the female warrior holds a candle, representing the light of hope and victory.
