Seven of Cups
Element: Water
The design of this card draws inspiration from the classic Disney animated film Aladdin. In this version, a magical cat–Aladdin sits on a flying carpet, rubbing a magic lamp to summon the genie, who holds seven cups—each capable of fulfilling a wish.
In the original Rider–Waite card, the shadowy figure represents desire, and the seven cups are filled with rare treasures, appearing within floating, illusory clouds. It is unclear whether these are dreams or hallucinations.
When the Seven of Cups appears, it reminds us that while life is full of visions and possibilities, it also contains many distractions and illusions. Now is the time to identify the one wish you truly want—and work toward it with clarity.
