A small piece of Jingdezhen beauty, made not for museum cabinets but for everyday life. These tiny animals bring the centuries-old tradition of blue-and-white porcelain into warm, playful forms you can hold in hand, channeling the elegance of classic qinghua ware into something softer: a crooked smile, a sleepy face, a wonderfully round belly...
Made with Heart
Every piece is formed entirely by hand-pinching without the use of molds before being individually painted with cobalt-blue details. Because of this process, no two creatures are ever exactly alike. One may sit a little taller. Another may have rounder cheeks or a slightly different expression. These are not flaws, but part of what gives each piece its own personality and the unmistakable warmth of something handmade. After shaping and painting, the ceramics are reduction-fired at 1300°C, bringing out the gentle tones characteristic of blue-and-white porcelain.
For Everyday Life
More than little sculptures, these animals are crafted to live alongside you. Use them as decorative objects, chopstick rests, pen rests, incense holders, or tea pets. Let one sit beside your teacup, keep watch over your desk, or simply make you smile when you pass by.
Each piece is completely handmade, so size, shape, brushwork, and expression will vary slightly. Small joining marks may also be visible where different parts are attached. These are natural traces of the hand-building process and make every piece truly one of a kind.
