Rooted in Slavic mythology and inspired by gadanie (the traditional practice of fortune-telling with playing cards), this deck reimagines the Rider-Waite Tarot through a world of ancient gods, household spirits, and supernatural beings. It draws from a rich yet fragmented cultural heritage preserved through folklore, superstition, and oral storytelling. Familiar tarot archetypes find compelling counterparts: Ivanushka the Fool, Baba Yaga, Marzanna, and many more. The artwork brims with folkloric symbols while its earthy palette and atmospheric detailing evoke the charm of old fairytale illustrations, bringing to life a mythic world shaped by magic, fate, nature, death, transformation, and the unseen.
