A single pen allows you to express what you think and feel. It is “language,” and excellent communication and comprehension skills often bring strong social connections. Yet language alone can never convey the full spectrum of emotion.
This is a kind of lack. If I cannot see your face, expressions, or body language, it becomes easy to misunderstand what is meant through simple words. Emotional expression requires more than communication through speech. It needs the full range of shared interaction and sensation.
