Justice
Look closely within. Your past experiences have become part of who you are. When you place your hand on the mirror and the reflection places its hand on yours, a balance is formed — using both the “real” you and the “ideal” you as weights. Take a good look at who you are right now.
This is a summary and evaluation of all that has come before. Only you know what you were thinking at certain moments, how you made decisions, and what shaped those choices. The mirror tells you to see yourself clearly, rather than numbing or deceiving yourself. When your eyes are closed, you should “see” with your inner sight. Your assessment of yourself now will influence what comes later. We must reflect carefully and take responsibility for our lives. When the mist fades, is the person in the mirror the version of yourself you hope to see?
UPRIGHT
Whoever or whatever you face now can help you reflect. In the process of balancing the water, you will naturally examine your own behavior and thinking, filling in the gaps. When you understand the truth of a matter, you can speak more objectively. Sometimes this card suggests concealing certain things for the sake of the bigger picture — a “kind” choice made after weighing the pros and cons.
Keywords: Rationality, objectivity, reflection, concealment, balance, weighing pros and cons, personal rules, self-understanding, acknowledging problems.
REVERSED
Previously settled matters may resurface and be reexamined — and the conclusion this time may be completely different. Under certain circumstances, especially when something was done against your true intentions or lacked openness, what was once hidden may now bring an unexpected impact.
Keywords: Lack of sincerity, improper methods, concealment, self-deception, dishonesty, letting mistakes continue, refusing to accept your own experiences, being awakened by others.
