Five of Pentacles

Upright: lack of support, rejected help or refusal to help others, enduring hardship both externally and internally, facing adversity together.

Reversed: harsher circumstances, stronger survival instinct, being crushed by the environment, passive collapse.

In the depths of a dense forest, two girls, having lost everything, are forced to leave their home in search of a new beginning. They trudge across mountains and swamps, covered in dirt and exhaustion, yet they never abandon each other. Side by side, they find warmth in companionship amid hardship. Passing by a golden-lit church, five shining coins hang upon its window — symbols of material and spiritual shelter. Yet the girls walk past without stopping, unmoved by the light and comfort within. They carry on through hunger and fatigue, choosing perseverance over dependence, embodying both the struggle and dignity of those who continue forward despite loss and suffering.
