XX. Judgment

Reversed: lack of self-awareness, unfair judgment, unfavorable emotional state, inability to enter a new cycle, refusal to change.

In the void over the mysterious sea, a pair of divine hands of judgment breaks through the air. Upon the water’s surface, the departed rise again to face their final trial. They respond to the divine call and are granted salvation and rebirth. The trumpet sounds — a symbol of the proclamation of the Gospel — while a white flag marked with a red cross flutters in the wind. Some are baptized, some abandoned, some find their life’s purpose, and others are lost once more in the sea of humanity.

When Judgment appears, it signals a crossroads in life where clarity and discernment are essential for making a higher decision. The past phase has reached its limit, but by responding to your inner calling, you can renew yourself. In health, it suggests recovery and rejuvenation. In relationships, reconciliation is possible. In legal matters, it often indicates a favorable verdict. If you wish to break free from a person or situation, this card signifies that the time has come.
