Strength

A popular folk legend tells that children who stay awake late at night will encounter a flesh-eating monster. On a cold winter’s night, a girl carefully arranges her fuzzy teddy bear by her bed, waiting for the monster described in the story.

When the shadow slips from the roof and forms into a physical form, extending its claws, the drowsy girl suddenly opens her eyes. The warm light of the lamp turns the room into a honey-colored glow, bathing the space in a soft halo. She smiles without fear, arms open wide, saying: “You’re the monster of the night? Come, don’t be afraid.”

The Strength card symbolizes the wisdom of gentle power — inner resilience, empathy, patience, and courage that triumph over fear. True strength lies not in dominance, but in compassion and calm resolve.
