Judgement

Element: Fire
This card draws inspiration from the legendary Chinese tale Nezha Conquers the Dragon King. In the story, the young hero Nezha slays the Dragon King’s third son to protect innocent villagers. In retaliation, the Dragon King brings forth a massive flood. To save the people of Chentang Pass, Nezha sacrifices himself by taking his own life. Later, the immortal Taiyi Zhenren revives Nezha using a lotus body, granting him divine powers like the Fire-tipped Spear, Universe Ring, Red Armillary Sash, and Wind Fire Wheels.
Similarly, the classic Rider–Waite version of the Judgement card features Archangel Gabriel sounding his trumpet, awakening the souls of the dead for spiritual rebirth and final judgement. Both stories emphasize the themes of transformation, karmic justice, and higher-dimensional forces at work—beyond mere material considerations.
