I met Marinia in the tide theater. She sat on the sea-flower throne at the center of the stage. When she lowered her eyes, her tears fell into stars; when she lifted her wrist, ribbons surged like waves. She is a nurturer of water energy, and also a dancer who wields flowing silks. She turned the profound dark sea into a colorful dance skirt, and flowers of emotion bloomed at her fingertips. I caught a tear-star that swept past my forehead, and a warmth spread through my palm.
