In my mind, The Tower has always been a card with an excessively "powerful" energy. Its appearance often implies that events are heading towards extreme directions. In the picture, the tallest building in the forest, the towering tower, suddenly collapses. The starlight that should have guided the way forward also falls little by little with the tower's destruction. This sudden change leaves people feeling helpless.
To some extent, the collapse of The Tower symbolizes the explosive release of negative energy from within, an abrupt yet inevitable "release."
