For Whom Do the Fruits Grow?

High above the clouds, the Owl Hierophant stands solemnly upon a mysterious floating stump, surrounded by its faithful young owlets. From the misty heights it plucks the fruit of knowledge, which the owlets peck at with focus and devotion. The Owl Hierophant is not only their elder but also their teacher, guiding the flock in both wisdom and sustenance. This tribe dwells year-round upon the floating woods of the skies, where the cloud-fruits are cultivated as a primary source of nourishment and learning. Though it is said these fruits grant "wisdom," no proof exists to separate their power from the Hierophant’s own teachings.

Wisdom Cloudfruit:
This rare plant twines its vines directly around the clouds, its leaves etched with glowing runes that shimmer faintly. The fruits resemble luminous crystals, radiating gentle light as though containing infinite knowledge. Unlike earthly plants, they draw sustenance not from soil but from the clouds themselves, thriving only under extraordinary conditions. Their rune-engraved leaves entice the owl-tribe to feed upon them, ensuring the seeds’ dispersal. Yet appearance alone cannot explain the owls’ devotion to cultivating the cloudfruit. Perhaps, indeed, the fruits hold the power to preserve and transmit wisdom—or perhaps it is the Hierophant’s presence that imbues them with meaning.
