Strange Plant Compendium

Tree of Life:
A towering, sky-reaching tree distinguished by its lush crown that grows with the features of many other plants. It is as if the tree alone could embody an entire ecosystem. Beyond being the emblem of the botanical garden, it stands as a spiritual symbol—vast, cosmic, star-studded, and brimming with vitality and power.

Sunblossom:
One of a symbiotic pair with the Moonfern. They thrive only in places rich with energy, making them symbols of status and rarity. Unlike the Moonfern, the Sunblossom has upright stems with evenly spread leaves, crowned with a radiant, sun-like disc of petals.

Moonfern:
Always found alongside the Sunblossom, the Moonfern struggles to draw energy from the soil on its own and depends on the Sunblossom’s radiance to survive. With climbing stems and irregular leaf arrangements, its blossoms resemble crescent moons, forming a mystical counterpart to its partner.

Sun and Moon in Harmony:
When both Sunblossom and Moonfern reach full maturity, the Sunblossom channels light energy into the Moonfern, producing a visible glowing band. Though the garden contains many rare plants, their symbiosis remains unmatched. When transplanted into sacred spaces, their combined aura evokes solemnity and reverence—though their conditions for growth are exceedingly demanding.
