What keeps me awake at night? Anticipation, anxiety, fear, tension, pain. The faint light from the computer in front illuminates the Ding Sheng Gao in the middle. "Victory" (Ding Sheng) is a word full of expectation, but also a burden only Asian kids can understand. It’s surrounded by different materials—they could be study materials, project data, unsolved problems, or the many, many efforts put in. Ding Sheng Gao is both pressure and motivation, a source of anxiety but also a source of drive. We are tortured by our own desires, but it is this obsession that lets us gestate power in pain, eventually pushing open the window of the dark night to welcome the morning light.
Insomnia, many difficulties, hatred, attack, sadness, suspicion, mental pressure. Reversed: Failure after effort, laziness, controlled by anxiety and fear, procrastination, unable to act.
