The hairy crab wears the glory of a feast, but in reality, it can't move an inch before destiny. It’s the star of the banquet, yet it’s bound by thin string. Around it, eight silver utensils are like eight swords of thought—each can dissect the truth, but no one unties its bonds. It is a noble sacrifice, voluntarily or forced to become a "delicious existence," and a projection of a personality caught in a self-perception trap. The lotus leaf symbolizes a temporary resting place or peace in an illusion—perhaps passive acceptance of reality. The "Eight Pieces of Crab Tools" are the eight swords—the power of logic, analysis, and structure, but also symbolizing an "external solution" that cannot break the deadlock. The Eight of Swords can be seen as an aspect of The Hanged Man, symbolizing confusion, limitation, closure, and predicament of thought. It’s the "suspended state" of The Hanged Man manifested in real life. It points not just to external constraints, but to an internal logical cage.
Bondage, trapped, indecision, injustice, bullying.
Freedom, returning to a safe zone.
