8. Strength

Upright

The Strength card often symbolizes courage and strength—both inner and outer. It’s like the strength needed to train a beagle: not brute force, but the gentle, firm power of patience. This card encourages overcoming challenges through compassionate determination, not physical aggression. Upright, Strength also represents control over passion and the conquering of anger or fear. It encourages you to resolve issues between you and your beagle with love and patience, rather than impulsiveness.

Reversed

When Strength appears reversed, it may point to a lack of inner strength, self-doubt, or loss of control. You may be facing inner conflict and feel like you've lost faith in your ability to train the beagle, or feel powerless in the face of obstacles. The reversed Strength may also indicate excessive control, or situations where fear or anger have taken over.
