Upright
As a mentor to a beagle, one is bound to encounter challenges. The Hierophant, as a spiritual guide and guardian of tradition, represents the pursuit of higher knowledge and respect for social norms. When upright, this card symbolizes adherence to established social order and traditional values. At times, the upright Hierophant may seem overly rigid or rule-bound, but often following rules and tradition is the best way to gain guidance and reach one’s goals.
Reversed
When the Hierophant appears reversed, it may indicate doubts or challenges toward traditional values, belief systems, or educational structures. It may signal a need to break rules, question authority or customs, and seek independence and freedom. The reversed Hierophant can also point to distrust or dissatisfaction with authority, or feeling constrained by outdated views and traditions.
