Vision
A castle stands in the backdrop, representing the King’s majesty. However, compared to the throne, he prefers staying in the garden, where he can feel the change of seasons, taste the sweet ripe fruits, stop the relentless climb, sit in the hard-won abundance, and fully enjoy it. This is the meaning of life.
Message
The King is disinterested in adventures or challenges. To me, he shares the mindset of those who think, “If things aren’t deteriorating, there is no need for change or improvement.” This energy had never resonated with me until recently, I frequently drew this card when thinking about my salary. I’m not rich by standard definitions, but I’m reluctant to leave my comfort zone for higher income. I enjoy the freedom to “fish for three days and dry the nets for two,” a leisurely lifestyle I’m unwilling to give up. I find myself caught in a similar dilemma and escapist tendency embodied by this card.
