Tao Hu Shan Ren is a Beijing-based illustrator and writer focused on folk culture. She has designed the official mascot for the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge, the Beijing folk deity Tu'er Ye stamp series, and a wide range of intangible cultural heritage (ICH) projects. Her work bridges ancient traditions with modern, youth-oriented markets, supporting ICH masters in revitalizing their crafts. A longtime tarot practitioner, Tao Hu Shan Ren also studies and practices traditional Chinese mysticism, including elements of shamanism, Buddhism, and Daoism. Her goal is to cultivate and refine the self through the exploration of Eastern esoteric traditions and to experience the subtle wisdom of the Dao.
