Four of Pentacles
These four objects look very ordinary, yet at different stages of life we all have our own “secrets.” They were once our most treasured belongings, and if someone becomes curious about them, we first evaluate whether that person meets the standard to share their hidden meaning.
The star jar may be filled with beautiful wishes for the future. The locked diary may contain memories of past events great and small. The small wooden box might hold cherished collectibles. The piggy bank is a little treasury built up bit by bit. In daily life, they are ordinary items placed quietly in an overlooked corner. Because these private objects may also hide moments of vulnerability, they are only revealed to those who truly matter.
UPRIGHT
Guarding, selective, abundant resources, caring about others’ opinions, unwilling to reveal, accumulated fragments of the past, collecting, treasuring, holding dear.
REVERSED
Overprotection, broken boundaries, instability, newfound freedom, extreme self-closure, trusting too easily, losing a sense of security, revealing.
