A small snail gazes at the clusters of unripe green grapes in the distance. Though it moves slowly, it believes that if it begins its journey now and works toward that goal, by the time it arrives the grapes will be perfectly ripe. Some may mock its innocence or overconfidence, but its hope has never been extinguished.
This represents anticipation for the future and a spirit of optimism, as well as strong persistence. The road ahead may be long, but the desire to achieve its goal is powerful. Once it gets even a small taste of success, it will surely push forward. Along the way, however, it may encounter temptations: other “fruits” that seem closer and more appealing.
Strong persistence, strong sense of purpose, solitary experience, attraction, just right, adventurous, goal oriented, decisive.
Lessons learned, scattered goals, reliance on others, missed opportunities, hardship, unexpected events, obstacles, lack of follow through.
