XVIII. The Moon
Reversed: improvement of circumstances, release of pressure, truth revealed.
Beneath the deep night sky, a vivid and haunting dream ensnares her. Outside the window, the usual calm is gone — replaced by the chilling howls of wolves echoing through the dark. Fear flickers in her eyes as she stares at the moon hanging above, its eerie glow forming the outline of a half-human face. The air is heavy with an indescribable tension, making it hard even to breathe. Uneasy, she curls up beneath her blanket, trying to hide herself in the safety of shadows. How she longs to be like the figure drawn on the window — holding her mother’s gentle hand and hearing soft words of comfort.
The Moon represents subconscious fears — those that cannot be spoken and must be faced alone. They are primal instincts deeply rooted in our being. Yet, if faith has already been found in the Star, these terrors will eventually subside and dissolve into calm.
