The Hanged Man

Sacrifice,
he hangs upon the wooden stake.
It is the hardship destined in his life,
and he accepts it with serenity.
He says:
this is the road of life,
the tempering of my will.
I will not refuse it.
Only after tasting the inevitable hardships of the world
will the path be revealed,
and paradise appear.
