Death

It is a gentle, sunny day, and the girl goes out to play as usual. Upon her return, she finds her grandmother still lying on the rocking chair, selling vegetables. The girl tiptoes, gently placing a white flower in her grandmother’s silver hair. But as she lifts her gaze, her breath stops. A skeletal figure draped in a black cloak stands holding a sickle, a white horse silently beside it.

"Is it Death?" The sunlight remains gentle, and light rain begins to fall.

The Death card often symbolizes not the physical end, but "death" as a metaphor for unavoidable conclusions in life — the end of relationships, shattered dreams, or the shedding of old selves. These endings, like facing death, can be painful, yet they hold the opportunity for rebirth. Only by embracing loss can one welcome new beginning.
