Justice

Two mothers fight for a baby, each claiming the child as her own. King Solomon decrees: "Cut the baby in half, each of you shall have one."

Before he finishes speaking, one mother bursts into tears, crying, "I would rather give up this child than see him die!" The other mother nods without hesitation, "This seems fair." Solomon immediately sees the truth and gently hands the trembling baby back to the woman who chose to sacrifice her claim for the child’s safety.

This card symbolizes "The Judgment of King Solomon" — representing fairness, law, logic, and objectivity. Life may not always be absolutely equal, but Justice invites us to consider: What is the right choice? How can we maintain balance through rational thought? And once a decision is made, we must take responsibility for it. When Justice appears reversed, it may suggest unfair treatment, avoidance of responsibility, or imbalance in logic.
