Queen of Wands

Element: Fire + Water
The Queen of Wands is inspired by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II (1926–2022), monarch of the United Kingdom and head of the Commonwealth. This design draws from her iconic 1953 coronation portrait taken by royal photographer Cecil Beaton. Merging this royal image with the traditional Rider–Waite symbolism, the Queen wears the Imperial State Crown and holds a scepter topped with a cross, symbolizing supreme authority.
She dons a sunflower-patterned cloak and sits on a sunflower-adorned throne—sunflowers symbolize joy, light, and her dominion over nature. In place of the traditional black cat, her beloved corgi rests in her lap, symbolizing inspiration and intuition. A serpent carved into the throne alludes to her mastery over primal instincts. The Queen of Wands represents success achieved through inner strength—a union of fire and water.
