Seven of Wands

Element: Fire
The design inspiration for the Seven of Wands comes from the famous Chinese tale “Crossing Five Passes, Slaying Six Generals” from Romance of the Three Kingdoms by Luo Guanzhong. In this story, the heroic Guan Yu proves his valor through feats such as “slaying Yan Liang and executing Wen Chou” and especially “crossing five passes and slaying six generals.” Guan Yu passed through five of Cao Cao’s checkpoints, slaying six generals to escape and join Liu Bei. This metaphorically represents overcoming enormous challenges through bravery and determination, which aligns with the essence of the Seven of Wands.
