Five of Wands

Element: Fire
The design inspiration for the Five of Wands comes from the musical "Cats" by Andrew Lloyd Webber. On a special night, during the annual Jellicle Cat family celebration, each cat has its own unique attire and personality. They perform for a chance to be chosen to ascend to the Heaviside Layer and be reborn into a new life. In the end, Grizabella, the old stray cat who had been estranged from the family for years, sings the song "Memory," reminding everyone of the past. The family accepts her return, and she is chosen to ascend for a new life.

The original Rider–Waite Five of Wands features people in different outfits and colors, representing differing positions and personalities. The varying positions suggest unequal standing or conflicting views, leading to internal conflict and external disharmony, much like the scene from "Cats."
