I boarded a boat filled with fresh flowers. The swamp grasses suddenly stirred gentle ripples, pushing the little boat toward the center of the lake. Through layers of trees, I saw an enormous white horse appear before me. Its coat shimmered with a pearly sheen, the tip of its tail still dusted with unfaded starlight, as it grazed calmly. In the distance, a house seemed to be waiting for me.
