Out with the old, in with the new. The Death card represents the end of a stage and the start of something new. Though it may be hard to accept, the world is in constant change. The ending revealed by Death is something we must embrace, finding a new starting point. Looking back, what has passed may not be as sorrowful as it once seemed, and the new beginning carries greater hope.

Under the blazing sun, the arrival of Death does not cause the spirit dragon before him to show fear. Instead, the dragon remains calm and composed, with a respectful and serene attitude.
