Across rippling waters glides a small boat. The ferryman carries swords across to the far shore. The vessel is weighted with blades, clearly incapable of a long journey. Yet the ferryman knows this and continues anyway—he believes that those awaiting the swords on the opposite shore will put them to good use on the battlefield. Even if his voyage ends soon, the mission must be fulfilled.
