The Two of Swords is about choice and balance—maintaining calm in opposition and finding the midpoint between contradictions. The two ice pops in the picture, one orange and one blue, are like two light-sabers, both opposing and symmetrical. They are placed tightly side-by-side, like the blindfolded woman holding two swords, still before the turmoil. The ice cubes, watermelon, lemon, pineapple, and ice cream in the background symbolize the sea in the Waite card. The sea is sometimes turbulent, sometimes calm—this is our inner world: full of change, but needing to be guarded by a rational and balanced mind.
Duality, internal conflict, debate, dangerous friendship or befriending an enemy. Reversed: Unable to make a decision for a long time, confrontation leading to results.
