Upright
Father Beagle solemnly and compassionately announces the end of all things—just like the appearance of Death, which also symbolizes a new beginning. This kind of transformation may be difficult, but opportunity and turning points often come hand in hand. The upright Death card encourages you to accept these inevitable changes and understand that they are part of life’s cycle and growth. It may also represent the end of a particular phase, relationship, job, or mindset in your life.
Reversed
When Death appears reversed, it may indicate resistance to change, an inability to let go of the past, or struggling with a difficult transition. This could be due to fear, uncertainty, or comfort-zone dependency, leaving you stuck in a challenging transformation. You’ll need extra patience and introspection. Still, the reversed Death card carries the meaning of rebirth—perhaps you've already heard the beagle priest’s prayer, and are on your way to true renewal.
