2. The High Priestess
Upright
Could the little beagles’ sense of smell also be part of its innate intuition? Much like the High Priestess in tarot represents intuition, surface knowledge, and hidden truths. She sits at the threshold between the sacred and the mundane, reminding us to listen to the voice within and pay attention to messages from the subconscious. The upright High Priestess suggests that while you may have a strong sense of perception, at times there may still be a sense of distance or detachment from it.
Reversed
When the High Priestess appears reversed, it may point to blocked intuition, ignoring inner voices, or truths that remain hidden. In this position, you may be neglecting your inner feelings, or relying too heavily on external information while searching for answers instead of observing objectively. It may also indicate that some secrets remain concealed.
