Guidebook for Glimmer Walker Tarot

The traveler emits a faint glow, just like each of us who walks through the world, shining in our own small way.

On this journey of life, we experience joy and sorrow, hardship and delight; we also go through difficulties and losses, struggles and gains. Every time we rise and move forward, we seem to glow with radiant light; every time we sink into despair, we are cloaked in the shadows of darkness.

In this deck, light symbolizes yang energy, representing progress, initiative, and change; shadow symbolizes yin energy, representing introspection, passivity, and tranquility. The energy of light drives us forward, while the energy of shadow reminds us to rest and reflect.

The interplay of yin and yang energies also corresponds to the four elements in the Minor Arcana: The fire of Wands is yang within yang. The water of Cups is yin within yin. The air of Swords is yang within yin. The earth of Pentacles is yin within yang.
