YIHE is an independent ceramic design studio in Jingdezhen, China. Its name joins 弋 (yì), to capture or gather, and 禾 (hé), for steady growth. Drawing on forms from plants and animals, each piece is developed through repeated experiments with different materials, and is seen as unfinished until someone wears it.
