GIRIGIRI studied at Seian University of Art and Design, where he developed interests in Eastern mythology, Japanese yokai stories, Western astrology, and mysticism. He began drawing tarot cards in 2022, working mainly in watercolor.
He values the unpredictability of watercolor, which lets each image record his mood at the time of painting. He sees tarot as a meeting of philosophy and art, and every deck as a reflection of its creator's worldview.
