Chun Wei Huan (Springtale) graduated from the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing. She works across easel painting, curating, folk and ethnic minority arts, and computer graphics for games.
Her interest in mythology and occult-inspired art took her on an expedition to Dunhuang and into a contemporary art exhibition on Hmong mythology. Most of her work draws on mythical folklore or her own fantasies.
