Card Meaning

The Gift of the Earth’s Heart speaks of material beginnings, the arrival of opportunity, and the potential to take root and grow. All things sprout from the soil, and every achievement begins with a foundation. A gently opened hand reaches out from the clouds, steadily holding up a great “Star of Fertile Soil.” Nine small stars circle the pentacle in an orderly ring. Newborn flowers of hope bloom on the clouds, and behind them stretch the rolling Watchful Peaks and the winding Tiller’s Path. High in the heavens, layer upon layer of clouds pile up into the distance, and sunlight spills through the gaps.

Abundance does not come out of thin air. It is the world’s answer once you are willing to put down roots.

Reversed

• Core Issue: The opportunity is right in front of you, but you don’t reach for it — or you do, and fail to cherish it.
