Vision

On a fast-moving train, an earnest apprentice focuses on carving their piece, oblivious to the fleeting, colorful scenery outside. The predominant blue hue immerses them in an underwater void, a pattern seen in The High Priestess and The Hanged Man. In all three, the protagonists are absorbed in their own worlds, with the water muffling any external noises. They desire minimal disturbance.

Message

When we are immersed, time slows down around us. We only realize upon looking up that the sky has changed and much time has slipped away. Sometimes I wonder if I’m wasting my brief prime and if I should venture out more. Yet, the protagonist or the storyteller – I can only play one role well given my limited talents. So, I return to my pen day after day. Resolved to spend my life by a window where I can see dawn and dusk, I invest my all into the worlds I craft, hoping that my written journeys resonate as distant voyages for my readers.
