Guidebook for Akashic Eye Lenormand

Drawing inspiration from the Akashic Records, this deck is a fun and educational intro to mysticism. It's filled with symbols that represent natural laws and higher wisdom, including as many as 25 bonus cards to accommodate unconventional practices and diverse needs.

Each card in this guidebook is read in layers. It opens with the card's basic attributes (its influence, category and keywords) and its special attributes: transformations, orientation, emotions, actions, time and position. Interpretations then follow across concepts, career, relationships, people, objects, health and spirituality, before the card closes with its advice and a few details, including an overview, how it differs from similar cards, notes and alternatives.

The deck can be read in three ways. The traditional Lenormand uses the 36 cards from 01 Rider to 36 Cross, with a right-facing Man and a left-facing Woman. The AECATE Original Lenormand grows to 48 cards with twelve new concept cards, from 37 Apple to 48 Pawn, and brings in six new people cards. The 40-card version instead adds four compatibility cards: +1 Spirit, +2 Incense Burner, +3 Bed and +4 Market.

Several cards also come with alternatives: a hidden-snake design for 07 Snake, a hidden-mice design for 23 Mice, a cat in place of the dog for 18 Pets, and reversed, witch or wizard, or gender-neutral versions of the 28 and 29 people cards. Only one version of each card belongs in the deck at a time.

Keywords are separated by semicolons, each marking a different facet of the card. The Rider, for instance, reads "New things; Messenger or contact person; Process of delivering information; Temporary or transitional situations." For deeper readings, cards can be laid onto pre-assigned houses to form combined meanings: with houses set as Man, Ring and Woman, drawing Fox, Scythe and Fish might point to challenges within a marriage or relationship.
